What kind of bizzaro world do we live in where people can applaud the likes of Limp Bizkit, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, and Godsmack...yet there's no Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Blind Guardian, or Hammerfall?

Sorta thought "Welcome to the Jungle" was mandatory on these sorts of lists. I mean, think of the PP, for God's sake!

Have to throw in "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes, as it's also become an arena standard.

I'd take Bark at the Moon or Shot in the Dark, personally.

This.

I'm not much of a metal fan myself, but there has to be some Iron Maiden or Judas Priest in there somewhere.

If you want a reason for removing a song from the list, I'll do my best:
Break Stuff (or anything else) from Limp Bizkit.

- Fred Durst is a tool, on the Carson Daily/Ryan Seacrest level
- Limp Bizkit simply copied Korn's model and incorporated rap
- They were the ultimate "bro" band for a period
- Fred Durst is a huge tool.

As for the other 3 (Drowning Pool, Disturbed, Godsmack), they're just metal for people who don't like Metal (see: Metallica post-"And Justice For All")

Not sure if anyone saw this yet or not, but it appears Handzus took the Cup back to his hometown, and he's wearing a cast on his right arm.

I guess he really did indeed play injured. Hopefully the injury won't linger over the course of next season.

3's & 7's and No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age should be on this list.

Rock and Roll Part 2 was a staple for so many years...until the d-bag Garry Glitter got busted for being a pedofile.

Song 2 by Blur was good in its day until it became cliche.

John i agree with many other posters on here, there NEEDS to be more Judas Priest and less Disturbed/drowning pool etc. As the guy from philly said, Disturbed and other bands like them is just for people who dont like metal but want to put the horns up with their hands for a heavy guitar riff right before they cry about how depressed they are or whatever they sing about. Priest rocks harder than the whole play list combined...in my opinion but they are definitely better than disturbed and drowning pool

No - but to stop the royalties from being paid out, they've stopped playing it at any of the rinks that I've been to.

1. Pirri
2. Smith
3. Morin
4. Clendening
5. LeBlanc
6. Johns
7. Teravainen
8. Raanta
9. Danault
10. McNeill

It looks like they're rating the prospects based on who is NHL ready right now not necessarily who is the best long term prospect.

I would think Teravainen, Danault and McNeill are the top 3 long term prospects followed by Smith, Morin and Pirri.

I think Pirri, Smith and Morin and LeBlanc are NHL ready (or closest to NHL ready). Danault, Teravainen, Raanta, and Clendening are a year away (at the earliest).
Johns and McNeill are two + years away

These are ready, for the Blackhawks, not New Jersey, Buffalo, or Calgary ready

Bush? Really? Maybe if it were accompanied by a Belfour machine-Ed save. Other than that the band and song suck. U2...no thanks. This is basically taking intermission, pregame, and stoppage picks straight from the UC. While I agree the Hawks probably have the best overall product package of hockey, including ice girl frills, shoot the puck, and multimedia, it seems a few choices have been stuck in the rotation too long. Lets make this a little more creative and inject some alternative choices than regurgitating what's recycled in 95% of the buildings.

Ministry - Thieves or So What
Smashing Pumpkins - Frail and Bedazzled
Phish(yep) - First Tube
Soundgarden - rusty Cage
Janes Addiction - Stop

Offspring needs to be retired as well

No, I meant which prospects are closest to being NHL ready.
